Ontolica is a multi- disciplinary performance consisting of installation, video and live- generated sound. The work explores digital ontology and the divide between physical reality and the virtual realm. Are we moving towards a place where the visual representation of ourselves and our world is becoming as important to us as reality itself, and can what we define as reality only be limited to a physical experience? In a hyper digitalized society, how important is physical contact with others and what are the consequences of eliminating it entirely from our interactions?
